Does anyone have a tripping canoe in Wenonahs Ultra-Light Carbon/Graphite Lay-Up? I woudn’t even consider it but I came across a great deal on a Tandem Wenononah in this Lay-up. I always “wet-foot” my canoes.

The only damage I’ve ever sustained has been out of the water. Carbon is more brittle and it takes puncture wounds easily in the foam core areas. Love my boat though. A deal is a deal, and you can always learn composite repair.
