I will be crossing Prince William Sound this summer from Whittier to Cordova with a resupply in Valdez. I am wondering about boat security while in Valdez (not that worried actually, just wondering if I will be able to leave the boat in the harbor? Maybe just talk to the harbor master?). Mostly wondering how I am going to get my kayak to the ferry when I get to Cordova. I doubt I will be able to land near the state ferry and just walk on over. I’m thinking I can either bring along a set of wheels and walk up the road with the boat, or maybe there is Uber service that can help me move boat and gear? Has anyone tackled this problem? Thoughts or ideas?
