Never made a bad purchase, and …
… every boat I’ve gotten was “best enough” given the circumstances and purpose of the boat in question. I sold the first canoe I ever bought, a Wenonah Vagabond, after I bought three more canoes and the Vagabond no longer offered something that one of the other boats didn’t do better. That didn’t make the Vagabond a bad purchase - it was a very good purchase at the time.
