What's up with the user name?

I’m seeing a lot of posts with the wrong username. Any explanation?

Yep. I have a thread that I started before the switchover. It didn’t appear after the switch and just showed up today with some other username on it.

It appears the postings between 11/11 and 11/17 were the ones with garbled identities once migrated here. There are some real doozies in the long thread about rolling.

So sorry about the user name problem! A mismatch occurred at some point during the import process, and I haven’t had time to figure out the source of the bug. Will look into it asap, but in the meantime, if you tell me what user name is appearing incorrectly for yours, I can manually fix yours.

ok, I think the user names are fixed now. can’t be entirely sure, so let me know if things still look wrong. it’s been a little bit like shooting while blindfolded at a moving target but expecting it to be stationary.
