I agree, but think it is more likely southern California (so no further north than Point Conception, which is just west of Santa Barbara). Possibly filmed on one of the Channel Islands.
Slight possibility it was filmed in Mexico along Baja, but I suspect for ease of filming they stuck to the US.

The lake, mountains, apple orchards; my guess would be Lake Chelan, Washington.
One of the cliff faces and rocks on shore looks like Torrey Pines state beach, but the rest of the video is definitely not there. Also looks a bit like area south of Jalama state beach but I don’t think that is right either. As Peter says could be one of the Channel Islands, I’m only famililar with two of them. Agree they probably stuck to something close to LA filming/production resources. I think film crews would avoid Baja due to crime issues.
Looks like South Africa, Cape Town, the Drakensberg and Paarl/Cape province area.
