Where to Find Used Ocean Kayaks for Fish

I am trying to find a used Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident 13 Angler (could they have given that thing a longer name). Does anyone know a good place to find deals on used kayaks? I can’t afford the $900 for a new one.

Craigslist…
Check in every 3 or 4 days for your immediate and adjacent areas. Another possibility is to google for a local kayak fishing bulletin board since these usually have a gearswap section.



I found OK scupper pro for $400. Liked it a lot and decided to get another to fish with my son. Found another for, again, $400 in almost new condition.



Winter is the best time for buying “used” since folks are usually posting because they want to get rid of a boat and are willing to ask for less.

Beach rental places
I’ve gotten good deals on end-of-season rental 'yaks. They’re worth checking out.



Also e-bay and Craig’s List, though they’re pretty unreliable.



p-net runs a classifieds section you should check out.



So do other boards. Check some coastal fishing boards to see if anyone is selling.
