Thinking of adding a new WS Pungo to my fleet. For those of you who recently purchased a WS kayak in 2020, have you noticed problems in quality control with yourr new kayak? Read numerous reported problems online with unsealed bulkheads, loose fittings, etc. Wonder if the recent ownership/takeover by Pelican is having an effect.
My Pungo is a couple of years old and I’ve had to reseal the bulkheads but the rest of the boat is fine. I hope Pelican isn’t ruining a good name.

I noticed that the new Tsunami 140 has an increased width of 25.5”, vs I think 24” or so for the older models. That seemed weird to me given that the 140 is supposedly for smaller paddlers. But I don’t know anything about quality issues.
