What a great shot of the bear. If bears could be domesticated, its the only animal I would want for a pet. Such is life.

Its a shame that such majestic animals are drawn to our junk food.

How many backyards have you had in how many countries?

We have moved about 12 times in 20 years, something like that. Sometimes I wake up and do not remember where I am for a moment. I buy houses when I can and then rent them out when we leave. I have not seen the Nevada house in seven years (same tenant though)
I was sweating it during covid if people stopped paying. it’s a crazy life, running it over FT
It is getting more difficult as the old guys who know how to do things retire (no labor.)

When I was in the Army, we moved 7 times in 7 years. The longest we stayed
anywhere was at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. The best post of those years.

I have been known to do that!
On another note, we have a consant battle trying to keep the nonnative invasive wisteria from taking over parts of our yard. Love the color in the spring though. Unlike the invasive Kudzu (which is eatable) Wisteria is poisonous and is one of the plants that can be fatal to dogs.

Blauer Eisenhut (Aconitum napellus)

(I think?) Today we packed for the Alps hike

I didn’t know that. I’ll increase my efforts to keep it beat back.

No moose in SF or San Pablo Bays, but lots of these…
