Got a good deal on a Henderson foot pump but I need to make a stand to lift it forward from the bulkhead. I figured the easisest design would involve a short length of PVC pipe bookended by marine grade plywood covered in fiberglass.
The question is, does fiberglass (coated with polyester resin) adhere to PVC?
Any information/ ideas appreciated.

Not so much sticks to it as locks it in
place … but don’t use ester resins with pvc … stay with epoxy. If using epoxy with pvc, soap water slim off of it then lightly sand with 100 - 120 then bond with epoxy.
