I have the old version of the Yakima Boatloader that was designed for use with the roundbar. Would it work to replace the roundbar clamp and two bushings with the corebar replacement parts so that it can be used with the corebar? Is there any other difference between the old version and the EVO version that would cause a problem?

I have the EVO version for the core bars on my wife’s vehicle. Looking @ the spare parts link on the EVO Boat Loader page it appears that basis of the boat loader I.E. the rail extension, is universally compatible w/either bar bushing & clamp.
