Susquehanna is a great river.
Cooperstown to Bainbridge on Sunday. Should be a little better water level that last year. The upper river is a blast in a C4
Extreme available new also. Some on Long Island for sale now. I have a bunch.
Solstice is not a very good for most people. I love mine. Most popular sea kayak in the world.
Recently got a new to me car and have not had a chance to get a rack yet. Luckily I was able to squeeze the RPM in for a day trip to Riversports Rapids in OKC
My brand new custom carbon kevlar Rockpool Bach Eto. The 10 month wait for this 42# beauty has been well worth it!
My new to me Libra XT coming home from the Lake George Region. And I thought my Extreme was big!
I am unsure how to deal with the forward cockpit. Using a strap in front and in back seemed to work out ok. The kayak shows damage (by the n in “Current Design”) from a previous owner seemingly strapping the kayak over the cockpit.
The Solstice was my second choice. Its geometry gets close to a FSK (fast sea kayak) and it seemed more forgiving and better for expeditions. But my purpose in kayaking is almost always fitness and challenging myself at how fast and far I can go in a given session of 2-3 hours. The Extreme is an FSK that has met that criterion very well.
I am sorry for the delay in my reply.

Somehow the boats got off the LR Discovery before I could get the picture taken.
Here’s my latest purchase. Old Town 2000 model year.15.5 Osprey. I’ll need to add an extension to my current roof rack.
The old Suburban(1974 4WD National Park Service surplus - The Beast) loaded with 3 canoes, 6 people, all their gear and food for a week at the lake. Destination Tugaloo Lake. Circa 1986.
Note the enormous sweetgum tree overhead!
Moving day! Loaded up for a short ride to a storage unit for awhile.
A Tripper, a Penobscot 17, and a Wenonah Jensen WWC-1.
Loaded my Old Town Tripper on my Frontier after Christmas celebrations. Normally I store this boat at my grandmother’s for the family to use on the lake behind her house (at least a couple of us gather there weekly to visit and it’s nice to have the option for a quick paddle). We got some serious rainfall last month and the small river behind my house has been settled down for a bit now, but is running both deeper and wider than before. So I figured it’d be fun to go run this barge down it and back up sometime this week to see what all has changed since I paddled it in my solo a few months back.
