Hello all,
I was lucky to procure a very nice P&H Quest kayak from a friend at a nice price. It’s a beautiful boat. My friend wasn’t able to provide much details and wasn’t able to tell me what the kayak composition actually is. I contacted P&H and they told me the kayak was a 2001 model but they had no other details about the boat.
Could anyone help me identify what material this kayak is made out of? I know P&H currently makes Kevlar/Diolen, Diolen, and Kevlar/Carbon Infusion kayaks.

The yellow is the Kevlar/carbon weave, you got yourself a really nice boat

Do you mean the yellow/black weave or the yellow on top?
Yellow and black on the hull is carbon/Kevlar. Deck is diolen. That’s a common layup combo for P&H. Nice find!
