Help me identify this kayak

Hello,
I just bought this kayak for $500. I’ve been searching for a surfable boat for a while, an upgrade from my old Pyranha Orca 16.
This kayak seems like it has had a storied life, I can’t find any makers marks or serial numbers, other than on the hatches and rudder controls.

Nearest I can tell it might be a P&H Quest, from 2001. According to this thread about a similar looking layup (Help me identify kayak material).

So no serial number? That would tell you age and what it was. By 2001 most makers were embossing the S/N somewhere on the inside hull or along the stern gunwale.

I have squeezed my head to peer inside each compartment, hoping it might be hidden. But no, I haven’t found any identifying marks. I’m only guessing on the “2001.” Based on the post I linked with the similar material. I’ll keep looking though. If there is a S/N then it was painted over.

I think P&H has a label glassed into the hull inside the cockpit…no idea where, but it is in there.

About layup, when you see both black and tan it is likely carbon/kevlar, but a weave tells nothing of a make/model?

My older P&H Sirius S had a label inside the cockpit on the right side in front of the seat.
