don’t you DARE.! It’s a truly beautiful Gibson. Congratulations.
I was looking at google maps of this area. Is this brackish water?

iPhone pic of my Baffin tonight turned out pretty decent:
Yes, but very close to ocean level of salt. It has a lot of ocean input, and only some freshwater input, relatively speaking.
Here are some I recently took while at Edisto Island SC.
The spring high tides are when Horseshoe Crabs mass spawn on the SC beaches. Migrating shore birds time it so they can take advantage of this bounty.
Horseshoe Crab eggs about 3 weeks developed from the last high tide. You can see the small crabs inside the eggs. These have been washed out of the sand by tidal currents and wave action.
Sea bird buffet! Laughing gulls.
When the exposed eggs became scarce the would dig into the sand to find clutches of eggs.
Sanderling, Ruddy Turnstones, and various sandpipers.
Drone shots of Otter and Pine Island. Notice the shallow exposed sand bars at low tide.
What the low tide exposure looks like at Kayak level.
Views from the beach house.

Yes it is. Very nice area to paddle. Quiet.
I miss paddling & swimming the springs in Florida.
It’s very pretty.
Memories of Swanee River springs near Jasper FL. Summer of 76, fun.
Was in Jax and a Navy Buddy was from there.
