Short trip to NH this past weekend. Got lucky with an absolutely gorgeous day on Saturday to paddle on Newfound Lake. Air and water around 70 degrees, minimal boat traffic and no wind.

I evacuated to the east coast for Ian - stayed at my college roommate’s place in Delray Beach. Tuesday through Thursday were rainy and windy but Friday was gorgeous and I got out for a nice 15 miler up the ICW to Boynton Inlet and back. Saturday I took my roommate and her housemate paddling since we had three kayaks. Housemate had never been paddling before; she flipped the Tiderace right away but after that was fine and had a great time. Happy to be home in St Pete and back on my boat now.
