That was my guess. The photo may be deceiving but it was huge! And nothing “inside” the hull. I’d love to know the story of the hull, the barge and how they got there. The one shore of the harbor is littered with old, rusting tugboat parts, shipping containers and other marine detritus.

the crane was recently active, as in maybe several years. it has moved in the area also, not a lot but some. It was also turned around the other direction several years ago.

My wife doesn’t even paddle her own boat.

10 days in central NH - Newfound Lake. We were just east of the really bad rain in VT but still were quite soggy and the lake level went up almost a foot overnight on Monday.

Three days of paddling in the San Juan Islands, including Sucia, Patos, and Jones Islands. Extraordinary experience.
