Show off your boat ... let's see pics!

Samba (much lower carbon footprint than the behemoth in the background)

Fathom LV

Prana LV. It’s the gray thing. :wink:

Must be a thing about Eddylines in yellow. The Fathom, Sandpiper and Samba pictured are yellow as is my Skylark.

Red boat is the only color I actually chose. Yellow boat was on sale. Grey was used demo, so I’m stuck with that color.

Family truckster

@Johnnysmoke,

What brand/model is that “Family truckster”? Did you have to custom order it? Thanks.

Fun project…about 100 hours total time to build.

I like the flush hatches.

You are the 2nd guy I’ve seen selling a Sterling. I thought they were the ultimate kayaks?

  • If I was still out that way (west coast Vs east coast), and
  • if I didn’t already have one,
    well, maybe.

@String

certainly not ‘ultimate’

  • they aren’t fast (I’m not in a hurry)
  • they are expensive (don’t spend so much on your next car, spend it on a kayak)
    However, for me, with a (potentially) bad back (35lb boat) and very safetly concious (safe in nearly any seas), it is perfect.
    (the weight is the reason I paddle the Illusion these days instead of an NDK Explorer(or Romany), I’ve got a longish walk to the water from where I live)

Seaward Passat G3, with a booster seat for the middle storage compartment. Not custom but usually made to order.

I bought a new Progression. Can’t afford to keep both

This photo shows my favorite kayak, the SKUK Explorer. The photo does not show the whole boat because it’s too pretty to show all at once.
