For some reason, I had a heck of a time trying to post the two pictures above. It seems to be too big a task for my computer, or the website. It just goes into ultra slow motion.
My much-loved, 18 year-old Wilderness Systems Ride sit-on-top and my new 2018 Advanced Elements Island Voyage inflatable.
My Ride has seen me through some pretty rough waves and high winds. I’ve only capsized her once, when I beached incorrectly and got rolled by the surf. She’ll never beat a sit-in in a speed race, but she’s fast enough for me. She’s stable and comfortable, perfect for spending an entire day on a lake taking photos, especially in the afternoons, when the wind really kicks in.
I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the Island Voyage. Very solidly constructed, extremely stable, and tracks reasonably well. I was looking for an affordable kayak that can be transported as checked luggage and this fits the bill. The kayak, PFD, paddle, and a set of paddling clothes comes in at about 45lbs and packs down to the size of a large suitcase. I especially appreciate that the bladders, plugs, and skeg are all replaceable, something not offered by Sevylor in the US, I haven’t tried it in tandem mode yet, but it’s fine as a solo.
This is the Think Uno Max in kevlar and carbon. Light and fast. Since I paddle alone there’s no dramatic pictures.

Fifteen-to-one aspect ratio … no wonder there are no dramatic pictures; they’d all be blurred!
Congrats, @“Doggy Paddler”
Looks like a nice ride.
Thanks! It’s my first non-plastic boat and I’m psyched.

My new used Impex Montauk.
If it’s anything like my Impex Assateague, you should be very pleased with it. The Assateague was my first boat and I was very lucky, as it remains the best fitting boat I’ve ever owned so far.
Mine is a bit on the heavy side, with there being some excess gelcoat, but with yours being carbon-kevlar it should be much better for weight.
I can lift it myself quite easily, a major plus I wasn’t expecting. I feel very lucky to have found it and so far have been really enjoying it. I think I’ve paddled it more in a few days than its previous owner did in the last 10 years.
My first solo canoe, just purchased 10 days ago. Per the S/N I think it was made in 1984. Clearly has been well cared for.

Definitely not fodder for the Cheap Fleet thread.
This is my entire fleet at the moment. Multiple boats don’t work well for me, I just settle into a pattern and paddle just one all the time. So a fleet was reduced from two to one recently.

Go big or go home right? Lol
I’m glad I’m not the only one here who Thinks.
Medwagone, where are the rest?
