Signs that spring is here

Well, a wee tad, tis true. It’s shapin’ up to be that kind of spring, croqui and daffodils aside.
But, if it’s the “little” part you’re seekin’ to surpass:

Snowed here yesterday but warm enough to melt when it hit the ground. Snow is quickly leaving the landscape but have a few snowbanks that are being stubborn.

Seeing signs of the lake ice melting along the shoreline. It’s at least a foot higher than in the fall; the last step of my staircase is under water. :slightly_frowning_face:

Saw the first Robin yesterday!

The First Robin! (a little light for Spring)

Cousin to hermits hid in thrush,
cross my grass plain you jig your rush,
and stop, then rush, then stop again,
red breast abob on snow free glen,

to pause with spring head held askew,
you listen in to earth renew,
then seek of beak will bring to terms,
how winter’s fall when summer worms
