Water oaks are great! The best firewood for a fireplace in NE FL. Not so friendly in the spring bloom.

Consensus on iNaturalist is this is a juvenile bald eagle. Way bigger than an Osprey.

I would say that is a good ID. In case you didn’t know, they take a few years to mature into adult plumage, so it is common to see juveniles at various stages of plumage. Here is a link to a detailed discussion and photos:

Then they grow up and move to the desert. :wink:
