I wonder if the wolf had become accustomed to human day trippers on lunch stops or overnight campers leaving edible debris?

That’s supposedly the way wolves became human companions . Symbiotic relationship.

Osprey peers down
from craggy clutch,
it thinks me fishy,
but not so much,
to stoop on lowly
in such a dive,
of paddle pusher
glaring back fisheye.

There is a lot of wildlife in the marsh. This morning I’ve seen osprey, great egrets, swallows, purple martins, oysters and 3 guys pushing a boat who don’t understand tides.
