ICE?
Complain because we have to put on big boy pants instead of shorts to go out and paddle.
Wear shoes instaed of flip flops and put on a windbreaker and wear a warm hat.
Haven’t seen ice outside in 33 years, and don’t miss it.
Just keep on paddling.
Oh, did I mention we are in FL, but we just had some horrible temperatures this past week, at least according to our standards.

Hiking boots + snowshoes = 3 to 4 lbs strapped to each foot
Now go walk 3 to 4 miles in the snow and you’ll be building up those hip rotational muscles in preparation of ice out in the spring.

What state are you paddling in?
the three day exercise cycle
1. Prepare for next storm by pushing all the snow wayy in the woods. Exercises front loader.
2. Experience storm…shovel tracks for dog repeatedly.
3. Plow or snowblow or shovel remains of current storm.
Like wood, snow can keep you warm several times.
Oh…in April…yard minefield removal.
I go paddling
Tomorrow will be my one hundredth day on the water. Not as much as I want, but grateful all the same.
