Wishing I could go kayaking

I heard several reasons why it would be a great place to live were I much younger. Then the COLD photos showed up.

Got to the house about 20 minutes ago. It’s 1:29 AM now. Could not get my wife’s 4WD out of the snow. Worked on it for 3-1/2 hours and had to give up.
We are drifted in again. Getting the skis out for tomorrow (again)

Still wishing.

When it’s not a good time for paddling it might be a good time to scout for future paddling destinations.
