Since it’s a wish list, I would like a cabin or even a trailer in the SC Low country, in the heart of blackwater river country and coincidentally near the ocean.
More time to paddle.
Warmer temperatures, less snow, and water without ice blobs or sheets. That’s what I’d like. What I’ll get is a Christmas Day snowstorm, blowing snow, and subzero temps.
The health to be able to paddle, the gratitude to appreciate those opportunities and the friends to share them with. Merry Christmas!

ditto here… I have enough stuff. I too would like warmer… but to be present to admire snow and subzero is a privilege too
Another Ditto of Andy’s wish, and maybe a small sailboat too…does that fit the list?

Amen Andy!
My wish is that my wife and I continue for years to come enjoying the paddling, camping, family and travel. The doctors gave her 3-4 years to live in 2006, and she’s still going strong! Thanking God everyday!
Merry Christmas!

You are both blessed Tom. Every day.

I agree.
Since I’m dreaming I’ll take a Seaward Passat G3 tandem in CF Kevlar. Oh yea then few grand worth of lessons from a pro.
How about a Guillemot Fast Double with bulkheads and hatches.
New paddle for my flatwater boat. Tarp for camping. Boots for hiking.
Merry Christmas everyone.
My shoulders from when I was twenty, and maybe lower back as well.

And other body parts . Be nice to keep our existing brains.

When your my age you’ll be wishing for the shoulders you have now. Although I’m quite happy with mine.

Cool but not looking for 29" cockpit combing or 11" knee height. I’d need to be 180 lb.
A mute point now.
Well, I did get one of my wishes: water without ice hunks. But lake effect snow was coming down and winds howling at 25-30kts. Not a good day for paddling. Or driving (I wouldn’t get out of my car to take the photo).
More paddling partners… that are free from the labor force. I’d like to paddle one of those beautiful Shrikes and have the skills to build one if I liked paddling it. One more Lumpy paddle.
I got a flannel shirt , socks, and 3 cans of cashews.
