Boats on cars - let’s see ‘em!

Absolutely unthinkable that they would take that out on the road without bow and stern lines

Here’s my trusty steed on the way out to a recent paddle

The old boat - Dephin 150 - just went off to a new owner this weekend:

The new and last longboat for me – the Sterling Progression Kayak:

The Honda Fit is seven years old, with only 41K miles mostly hauling kayak and waveskis, should still have some years of good service left to it.

How much do you want for the Sterling? Saw the for sale sign above it. :grinning:

If I had a boat with that much rocker, I would get it completely in yellow, and I would put a Chiquita banana decal on it. That thing looks like a lot of fun!

The combination of my Perception’s weight and my age make the racks on my truck an awkward and time consuming choice. Better to just load it into the back for the short trip to our island’s ramps.

This would be a safer rig if you ran the bow lines to attachment points under your hood.

. Here’s a video about “Flying Kayaks” - what no paddler wants to happen.
