Do they come in left or right models?
HAH! Gosh, if it drops to $25 I’d almost be tempted to see just how a canoe that shape feels on the water…
That is a very repairable canoe. I’ve fixed way worse. It’s basically only the gunwales…and a few dents. Just needs holding with a chain fall and use a press. Then tighten the rivets.
As Lurch from the Addams Family would say . . .
That aluminum looks a little work-hardened to me, but you make a good point roym. What is scrap value for aluminum at today’s prices.
Scrap value: $45. You only risk $30 investment.
I have a friend who picked up a trashed aluminum canoe. Hammered it back to shape and …
paddled it for 25 years.
Makes sense. Like I say. Worse case, ypu lose $30.
Craigslist doesn’t hold a monopoly on humorous ads:
Facebook Market Place - Fiberglass Canoe - $120
Did the flowers die?
This is free, but I have a hard time imagining anyone would want it even for free.
Cockpit lacks outfitting.
It should float but not very quickly.
Wow. Wow. WOW! I bet it could mount a pair of 4 pounders. I saw a pirate ship on a local public playground; wonder if IT floats?
Here is an idea for those DIY type folks… that have a couple of extra kayaks laying around.
Original design modeled after a Lego kayak.
I had the same thought.
A real steal.
This looks vaguely like a kayak-shaped coffin.
