HAH! Gosh, if it drops to $25 I’d almost be tempted to see just how a canoe that shape feels on the water…
That is a very repairable canoe. I’ve fixed way worse. It’s basically only the gunwales…and a few dents. Just needs holding with a chain fall and use a press. Then tighten the rivets.

That aluminum looks a little work-hardened to me, but you make a good point roym. What is scrap value for aluminum at today’s prices.
Scrap value: $45. You only risk $30 investment.
